Dr. Grace Tadzong Awasum is an associate professor of nursing and public health at the Catholic University of Central Africa, where she chairs the Master of Science in Nursing program. She holds a BSc in Biochemistry, a bachelor's and master's degree in nursing from UCAC, an MPH, and a postgraduate diploma in infectious disease control from Essex University, UK. Dr. Awasum earned her Ph.D. in nursing from Duquesne University, Pittsburgh, PA, USA. As an advocate for the nursing profession, she focuses on community health, disease prevention, health promotion, and infectious disease control. Recently certified by CGFNS as a Certified Global Nurse Consultant, she will speak to women's health issues in Cameroon and their access to care.
