Tarha Tervo-Heikkinen is a registered nurse and works in the Wellbeing Services County of North Savo and Kuopio University Hospital as a senior specialist in the Customer Relationships and Quality unit. She recieved her PhD in 2008. Her work is focused on follow-up, evaluation and reporting the quality of nursing care and promoting evidence-based nursing. She also actively carries out research. She has been a representative of the Finnish consortium for the national benchmarking of nursing-sensitive outcomes (HoiVerKe) since the beginning of the network.
