Thorsteinn Jónsson is a specialist in intensive care nursing, the head of simulation training at the education department of Landspi­tali (National University Hospital of Iceland), and an adjunct lecturer at the University of Iceland in emergency and intensive care nursing. Thorsteinn is a recognized pioneer in the development of simulation training in Iceland. He is a leading educator in this field and an active participant in the boards of organizations related to continuing education and emergency services.
