Dr. Gonzalez-Luis is full Professor at the Faculty of Nursing at the University of Navarra, Senior Policy Service Professor at the Center for Health Policy and Media Engagement at GW University, and contributing journalist at FudenTV. She is also a visiting professor at various Latin American universities. She has worked as a journalist in various media outlets and communication agencies. Her current research focuses on two interrelated areas: the social image of nurses as portrayed in traditional media and social networks, and the development of nurses' communication and political competencies. She has participated in 12 research projects, serving as principal investigator in 5 of them. She has published over twenty articles in academic journals, as well as several books and book chapters. She has participated in numerous national and international conferences. She has supervised one doctoral dissertation and is currently supervising three more.
