Carolyn Jones is an award-winning photographer and filmmaker who has devoted her career to celebrating invisible populations and breaking down barriers. She has published multiple books include Living Proof: Courage in the Face of AIDS and The American Nurse, and directed four feature documentaries focused on nurses: The American Nurse, Defining Hope, In Case of Emergency, and most recently American Delivery, which centers on nurse-led solutions to the maternal mortality crisis in the U.S. Carolyn's films have been broadcast and distributed worldwide, including on PBS and Discovery, and she is a firm believer that authentic storytelling can change hearts and minds. Carolyn is a Cultural Ambassador with the U.S. Department of State as part of the American Film Showcase program, and she was inducted into the American Academy of Nursing as an honorary Fellow for her contributions to the nursing profession.
