Dr. Abby Kra-Friedman is a nurse-midwife and a women's health nurse practitioner. She is the chair of the nursing department at Jerusalem College of Technology, Lev Academic Center. Abby is an executive board member of the Israel Midwives Association, a member of the core steering group of the ICN NP/APN NETWORK, and a member of the ICN board of nursing experts. She represents ICN at the midwifery working group at STAGE, and two other SRH technical working groups at WHO. She is mom to 6, happily married to a very supportive husband, and very excited to get to travel to Helsinki!
