Billingsley Kaambwa, PhD, is a professor of health economics and head of health economics at the College of Medicine and Public Health at Flinders University, Adelaide, Australia. He received his training in Zambia, South Africa, the USA, and the UK. One of his broad research interests focuses on econometric and statistical modelling of costs and outcomes in health technology assessment. He currently serves on the Evaluation Sub-Committee of the Australian Medical Services Advisory Committee (MSAC), which advises the Australian Commonwealth Department of Health on the public funding of innovative medical services.
