Medical doctor, Associate Professor of Public Health
Enyi Ifeoma Etiaba is a medical doctor and an Associate Professor of Public Health. Dr. Etiaba has been working in Public Health since 2009.She currently teaches post graduate students in Health Systems and Policy and Analysis, Health Policy and Systems Research (HPSR), and Basic Epidemiology & Demography. She is also a Senior Researcher with the Health Policy Research Group (HPRG), College of Medicine, University of Nigeria, involved in managing various research projects. She has been involved in work related to all building blocks of the health system, though keen to see better improvement in Maternal and Child Health Outcomes in Nigeria and improved healthcare financing and access. She is also eager to find innovative ways of integrating the public and private sectors in the control of non-communicable diseases (NCDs), for optimum health services delivery and addressing the Social Determinants of Health, and in getting research evidence into policy and practice. (GRIPP).
