Chilean-Spanish, Dr Amalia Graciela Silva Galleguillos gradutated Doctor Cum Laude in Nursing from Complutense University, Spain. She has a Master's in Evidence Based Nursing, in International Public Health, and in Health Care Research. She is University Expert in Health and Development Cooperation, and has diplomas in Competence-Based University Teaching, Nursing Care in Medical-Surgical Emergencies, and Biomedical Sciences Teaching. She holds a Nurse Degree in Nursing - Obstetrics from Talca University and has EBE training at Johns Hopkins Institute. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nursing, University of Chile, and Deputy Director and Director School of Nursing, and first Director of the Department of Nursing. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurses 2023, the only one from Latin America and Europe in this year of nomination. She has also worked in Ministry of Health advising GBPC program.
