Marja Renholm currently serves as the Chief Nursing Executive at HUS Helsinki University Hospital. She is a registered nurse spezialised in surgical nursing.
She holds a master's degree in Nursing Science and a PhD in Health Care Science (Nursing).
During the past 25 years she has held various leadership roles at Helsinki University Hospital, including Nurse Manager, Nursing Director and Chief Nursing Officer.
Her research interests have been in day surgical care, acute care and continuity of patient care, where she has contributed to advancing patient care pathways and improving nurses' work well-being. She completed her PhD on the continuity of care for day surgical patients.
